Note 1: You will require a Fishing Permit, which can be purchased in any Tabac (cigarette shop), at around 340FF for the year (in some place it is possible to buy a Visitors Permit at a lot lower price).
Note 2: For certain types of fish (or fishing) in France there is no season.
