There are two frontons in Bidart

The small fronton is part of the village square

Games of pelote à "main nue" (bare hand) take place during the summer.
You can watch the games sitting on the tiered seats or from the terrace of the bar.

The big fronton is at avenue Chabadenia below the church

Theatre of "Chistera" games,  (chistera: a long curved basket attached to a leather glove).

These memorable parties are organized by the local club "Kostakoak", a club that counts several champions.

Nearly every village in the Landes and the Basque Country has a fronton on which anyone can play for free and watch local games.

The Cesta Punta Internationals take place every summer in St jean de Luz.
