| The above chart is showing the Average temperatures recorded at Dax
Meteorological office, over a 35 year span. These are all as stated above Average, that
means in this instance the hottest average temps for all the months over the 35 years and
not the highest ever recorded (which I am led to believe is 48.7°C (120° F)) and
likewise for the minimum, not the lowest ever recorded either (which again I am led to
believe has been as low as -15°C in one very freak February some years back). The middle
temperatures are the most accurate as the average calculation has been defined from 3
sources the high temperatures average and the low temperatures average (as opposed to just
the highs for 1 average or just the lows for the other) and then all multiplied with the
middle average to arrive at the middle temperature band (I'm glad that's over, Einstein
eat your heart out, I do hope it all makes sense) so this is the band to concentrate on,
tremendous weather conditions which ever way you look at it. NOTE: The above does not include wind chill factors or humidity,
all information collated in the shade as Atmospheric Air Temperatures. The Average hours of Sunshine are given as follows: |
| Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | June | July | Aug | Sept | Oct | Nov | Dec |
| 219 | 191 | 222 | 248 | 344 | 371 | 393 | 389 | 341 | 297 | 258 | 235 |
