In the heart of the Pays Basque interior, at the foot of the Iparla hills, Daniel Hargain has three guestrooms in his 16th century home, a former staging post on the roads to  Saint Jacques de Compostelle and one-time abode of the d'Albret familly in Saint Etienne de Baïgorry.

The 'Domaine de Bassilour' is an 18th century country mansion with a park, surrounded by fields leading down to a stream, situated in the countryside with magnificent views of the Pyrenees mountains, yet only 3 km. from the Bidart beaches, Biarritz and the golf-course in Arcangues.
