On all approaches to the Beaches, you are met with the mountainous fine white sandy dunes. The above photo is Moliets Plage looking North, close to bars, cafe's, shops and restaurants all with ample parking (you can just see the estuary to the Courant d'Huchets (river), which flows from the Etang de Leon).

"La Lette Blanche" Plage at Huchet, 4 kms North of Moliets

The above picture was taken from the Plage at Huchet looking South, there are no bars or commerce at this beach. There is a very large shaded parking area in the pine trees, ideal for Mobile Campers (camping cars).

The above picture was taken from the Plage at Huchet looking North, I would think this beach will not get crowded.

The above picture was taken from on top of the dunes at the Huchet Plage looking North, Ocean to the left, dunes centre and Landais pine forests to the right. As you can see there is nothing North of this beach for perhaps another 10 kms.
