The Youth Hostels on the Basque coast

Upon arrival at the Youth Hostel (Auberge de Jeunesse), your stay will start the right way with a warm ONGI ETORRI  (welcome). These are the Basque country youth hostels. Taste the local products at every stop, TXOKOLATEA (chocolate), in Biarritz, the famous PIPERRA (red peppers) from Espelette which are a staple ingredient in basque cooking, the well-known  URDAIAZPIKOA (ham) from Bayonne and to finish, ARDI GASNA (goat's cheese).
